U.S. Secretary of Education Miguel Cardona will kick off the Week of Action by rallying educators, advocates, and organizations such as the National Education Association, National Association of Secondary School Principals, and American Federation of Teachers. This event aims to ensure that students and families are aware of the Affordable Connectivity Program and the benefits it offers. Register for this event here!
Join us at 10am ET at the Towson Branch of the Baltimore County Public Library, as we kickoff the Online For All campaign, a partnership between Civic Nation and U.S. Department of Education. This event will feature Senior Advisor Mitch Landrieu and FCC Chairwoman Jessica Rosenworcel and the FCC will lead an ACP train-the-trainer session for community leaders.
Be part of this event in Washington, D.C., featuring NTIA Administrator Alan Davidson. The Open Technology Institute (OTI), Public Knowledge, and Network:On are partnering to bring you an informative session on the ACP. (Virtual and in-person, register here)
The Housing Authority of the City of Brownsville is hosting an ACP enrollment event at the Strong Families Community Resource Fair. If you are in the area, come and learn about the program and enroll to access affordable connectivity.
Comcast is excited to participate in “Career Day” at Boston’s Chinatown Neighborhood Center (BCNC). This event aims to raise awareness about digital equity and the support offered by the ACP. BCNC empowers Asians and new immigrants, providing innovative programs and services to thousands of children, youth, and adults each year. Join us at this event, with an expected attendance of 200, to learn about the ACP’s impact on communities and explore exciting career opportunities.
Comcast is hosting an ACP sign-up event at Plymouth Housing in Seattle, WA. Attend this event to sign up for the program and receive technology assistance.
Starry has organized an ACP Info Session for residents of this affordable housing community in New York City. Join us in the lobby and enjoy light snacks while learning about our program. This event will take place from 5–7:00pm ET at 1730 Mulford Ave, Bronx, NY 10461.
Thursday, June 15
Join the Louisville Metro Housing Authority for ACP sign-up events at the Parkway Community Center. Learn more about the program and take the steps to connect to affordable internet services.
Comcast is hosting an ACP sign-up event at the Melbourne Senior Property in Alvin, TX. Attend this event to sign up for the program and receive technology assistance.
Join us for the “ACP Print Sprint” as the Starry team embarks on a large-scale effort to distribute ACP collateral to 13 affordable housing communities across the Boston Metro area. We aim to reach 3,700 households, spreading awareness about our program and its benefits. This event will take place at the South End Community Health Center in Boston, MA. Be part of this movement to bridge the digital divide in healthcare access.
Join the Georgia Technology Authority on Friday, June 16th, at 10 a.m. Eastern Time for an event that marks the grand finale of a two-week statewide certification drive. Together, we have empowered community members through LearnACP training by EducationSuperHighway, enabling them to support Georgia’s households in applying for the ACP and enrolling in high-speed home internet plans.

Join ConnectLakeCounty for ACP outreach at the Juneteenth Festival/Expo in North Chicago from 11 a.m to 2 p.m. Visit our booth to learn more about the program and its eligibility requirements.
Join Common Cause for a Lunch and Learn session at 1 pm ET. This event will provide information on the Affordable Connectivity Program eligibility and answer frequently asked questions.
Goodr and Verizon have teamed up to operate a mobile grocery store, offering free food for community members in need. At the event, Verizon will discuss the importance of the Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP) and provide guidance on qualification and sign-up. The Diversity Cyber Council, an FCC ACP outreach grantee, will be available to help interested attendees enroll in the program. Join us at the Andrew & Walter Young YMCA in Atlanta, GA, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. ET.

Participate in the Social Media Day of Action organized by the Leadership Conference on Civil and Human Rights. Join us in using social media platforms to raise awareness about the ACP and its impact on communities.
The United Way is incorporating the ACP into their planned Day of Action on June 20th. Stay tuned for more details on how you can participate in their efforts to support affordable connectivity.
Join us on June 20 at Tech Hill Commons in Nashville for Reimagining Digital Equity, a celebration of innovative solutions powered by Dell Technologies. Dell team members collaborated with UpRise and Blacks in Technology Nashville to address digital divide challenges and are committed to driving digital inclusion and ensuring equitable access to opportunities. The event consists of a solution presentation and panel discussion, then a networking mixer. Join us to celebrate and reimagine digital equity in Nashville!

The New York Public Library will be hosting an ACP workshop at the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Library. Join us to learn more about the program and its benefits.
Join the Jersey City Housing Authority (JCHA) and Starry at Hudson Gardens Community for an event promoting the FSS (Family Self-Sufficiency) program. Starry will be present to provide information about the ACP at a designated table in the community room. This event will take place from 3–6:00pm ET at 27 Palisade Ave, Jersey City, NJ, 07306.

Comcast is conducting a Lift Zone Tour and Digital Equity Panel in Spokane to raise awareness about the digital divide and the benefits of Lift Zones. This event, in partnership with Family Promise, aims to connect homeless families within their own neighborhoods, providing support networks and essential skills for housing stability. Elected officials and community members are invited to join this important conversation, with an expected attendance of 75.
